The Assistant Manager, Internal Communications & Content supports the development and delivery of internal communications and content, creating engaging staff communications and contributing to a positive organisational culture.

Working in a small, fast paced team, this is a role for someone who is a creative communicator that can bring strategies and stories to life in line with EFA’s objectives. 

Your new role

Location: Sydney/Brisbane

Role Type: Full-time, Permanent

About you

Develop and deliver internal communications that engage and inform staff.

Support leadership visibility through messaging, events and content.

Assist with change management processes.

Create content that reflects organisational values and strategic priorities.

Collaborate with teams to ensure alignment and consistency in internal messaging.

Measure effectiveness of internal communications and optimise based on feedback.

Help continuously improve internal communication platforms to ensure they’re effective, measurable, and aligned with business needs.

Coordinate and prepare other communication requirements in a timely manner and as required.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in communications, HR or a related field.

5+ years in internal communications, employee engagement or content creation.

Experience supporting leadership communications and staff engagement.

Experience with AI tools and platforms is highly desirable.

Strong writing and editing skills and can communicate complex ideas simply and effectively.

Experience editing video content and with graphic design using tools like Canva.

Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across teams.

Strong business acumen and understanding of organisational dynamics.

Demonstrated experience working with the Microsoft suite of products.
