ABOUT THE POSITION.

Our client is looking for a motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join their expert team. You’ll be working closely with clients, engineers, and multidisciplinary teams, and be part of a variety of geotechnical projects. This role is perfect for someone proactive, solution-focused, and passionate about delivering high-quality results.

DUTIES.

Manage geotechnical projects from initial scope through to completion, ensuring successful delivery

Conduct site investigations, analyse data, and produce clear factual and interpretive reports

Design foundations, slope stabilisation, retaining walls, and other geotechnical structures in line with Australian standards.

Oversee construction phase activities, including earthworks monitoring and providing guidance to contractors during foundation installation.

Prepare project proposals, maintain client relationships, and ensure technical accuracy

Uphold company quality systems and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field

In-depth knowledge of soil and rock mechanics, foundation engineering, slope stability, and earthworks principles

Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., PLAXIS, gINT, SLOPE/W, SLIDE) is highly valued

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with diverse stakeholders
