An exciting opportunity exists for Community Speech Pathologist - Aged Care permanent part time position.

Employment Type: Permanent Part Time

Position Classification: Speech Pathologist Level 1/2

Remuneration: 38.51 - 54.94 per hour

Hours Per Week: 16

What you'll be doing

The Speech Pathologist (SP) provides assessment and intervention for consumers appropriate to their service. The main purpose of this position is to provide accurate assessment, intervention and therapy for consumers with communication and swallowing disorders within their allocated caseload population.  

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

Bachelor or post graduate degree in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.

Demonstrated experience of working across a range of environments, preferably in clients’ homes and community settings.

Commitment to participation in professional development and quality improvement activities.

Proven ability to work independently and to establish effectively collaboratively working relationships within a multi-disciplinary team and interagency networks.
