The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a fit, reliable, and hard-working 3.5-tonne flatbed truck driver to join our Maroochydore-based operation. This is an ongoing full-time position working out of a building supply store, delivering building and construction materials to local job sites.

This role suits someone who understands construction environments, takes pride in their work, and is looking to grow within the transport and logistics industry.

Hours of Work: 6:00am start

Typical finish between 2:00pm to 4:00pm, depending on workload and run volume

Monday to Friday work

Key Responsibilities

Daily pickup and delivery of building, render, and construction materials

Fork-on / fork-off deliveries and hand unloads (within SafeWork lifting limits)

Selecting and managing your own delivery runs throughout the day

Strong understanding of construction sites, site access, and lot numbers

Completing pre-start checks and maintaining vehicle cleanliness

Delivering safely, efficiently, and professionally at all times

Liaising with dispatch, retail staff, and customers to confirm site requirements

Licence Requirements

The vehicle can be operated on a manual C Class (car) licence

A Medium Rigid (MR) licence is advantageous, particularly where higher load capacities may apply

This is not a deal breaker, as loads will generally remain below maximum capacity

Experience driving light commercial or flatbed trucks is highly regarded

Pay and Employment Options

32to34 per hour (PAYG), based on experience

ABN / contractor option available at 35.00 per hour
