The Office of Research supports CQUniversity’s strategic research priorities by providing high?quality governance, ethics, and compliance services. We work collaboratively with staff, students, and partners to enable impactful research, delivering expert advice and efficient administrative support across the research lifecycle!
As an Administration Officer, you will provide essential administrative support to the University’s research ethics function. This includes coordinating and processing ethics applications, maintaining accurate records, supporting site inspections and audits, preparing formal correspondence, and assisting the Ethics and Animal Welfare Officers. You will act as a key point of contact for enquiries, ensuring timely and accurate guidance is provided. This role suits someone who enjoys detailed work, collaborating with others, and contributing to ethical, high?quality research operations.

Position Requirements
Demonstrated administrative experience, including preparing documents and reports, and maintaining accurate records and archives.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to professionally engage with diverse clients across phone, email, and face?to?face interactions, including managing difficult enquiries with courtesy.
Proficient in computer use, including strong knowledge of MS Office, email and database systems, and experience working with large corporate information systems.
Completion of a degree; or an associate diploma with two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
Understanding and experience in ethics operations and procedures (Desirable).
