The focus is on modernising legacy systems across licensing, vehicles and buses, delivering scalable, secure and user-focused digital products. The program sits within Group Technology and is delivered in close partnership with the business using agile delivery models.

This is a fast-moving environment where quality, governance and delivery discipline are critical, and where senior practitioners are expected to lead, influence and uplift capability across teams.

About your new role!

As the Test Manager, you will lead the end-to-end testing strategy and execution across a complex, multi-stream regulatory technology program. You will be responsible for ensuring quality across Java-based microservices, React front-end applications, integrations and data platforms.

This role works closely with delivery squads, PMO and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are robust, compliant and production-ready. It is a senior role requiring both strategic oversight and hands-on leadership.

Key tasks for this role include:

Defining and executing end-to-end test strategies across multiple workstreams

Overseeing integration testing of APIs, microservices and data flows

Coordinating system testing and business-led UAT activities

Managing test planning, scheduling, resourcing and dependencies

Driving defect management and quality outcomes across squads

Implementing and improving automated testing within CI/CD pipelines

Providing clear reporting, dashboards and readiness assessments to PMO and leadership

Ensuring testing aligns with regulatory, security and data compliance requirements

Coaching and uplifting test analysts and automation engineers across the program

About You!

You are a senior Test Manager who is comfortable operating in large, complex delivery environments where quality and governance matter.

You will bring:

Extensive experience leading end-to-end testing on large technology programs

Strong background in integration testing, system testing and UAT coordination

Experience testing Java-based back-end services and React front-end applications

Hands-on knowledge of test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration

Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Ability to influence teams without direct authority

Comfort working in agile delivery environments with evolving priorities

Highly regarded:

Government or regulated industry experience

Exposure to cloud-based testing strategies

Performance and security testing experience

SAFe, Agile or ISTQB certifications

Pay Rate: 1,000 to 1,100 per day + super

Location: Parramatta, Macquarie Park and Sydney CBD

Work Model: Hybrid, 2 to 3 days onsite required
