The Team:
Located on the stunning East Coast of Tasmania, St. Helens District Hospital has Tasmania’s busiest rural emergency department, with an increase in emergency presentations during peak tourist season from December until April. The Role:
The Enrolled Nurse provides direct patient/client centred nursing care to assigned patients/clients, within the scope of practice of an enrolled nurse and under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse/midwife to achieve planned patient outcomes.

Details of appointment:
Permanent part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 38 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as you can join us.

Salary: $70,980 to $78,179 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type

Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse (holds a Board-approved qualification in administration of medicines)
