Medical Receptionist to Full-Time, Part-Time or Casual

About the Role:

Position Type: Full-Time, Part-time or Casual (1to4 days per week)

Availability Required: Weekdays only (No Weekends or Public Holidays)

Location: Long Beach Medical Centre and Newdegate Street Health Centre

Start Date: Immediate start available

What We’re Looking For:

Prior experience in medical reception or administration (highly regarded)

Familiarity with Best Practice software (preferred; training available)

Intermediate computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly

A warm, professional manner when dealing with patients and colleagues

Excellent multitasking and time-management skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and billing

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards

Current vaccination and immunisation status

Key Responsibilities:

Welcome patients and respond to phone and in-person enquiries

Schedule and manage appointments efficiently

Accurately enter and update patient information

Process billing and allocate payments

Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative teams
