About the Job

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Project Delivery, the Project Manager is responsible for the definition, approach, facilitation and completion of Cyber Security related projects. Working closely with leaders, teams and key stakeholders across the university, the Project Manager builds relationships to ensure that efficient, effective and timely services and projects are provided within specified project timelines.

To be successful, you’ll have:

Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or

Extensive experience and management expertise; or

An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training in cyber security, enterprise data platforms, cloud, IT, project management and specifically;

direct relevant experience leading multiple (eg. 4 -6) small teams working as a project manager/scrum master in a digital development environment using agile and hybrid delivery methods (eg. drives agile ceremonies)

Background in driving change adoption of new technology and new processes across organisations

Significant proven experience in the delivery of high complexity projects with large stakeholders groups with proven ability to recognise and critically analyse stakeholders requirements, able to facilitate discussions with a wide range of stakeholders and engage/manage vendors effectively.

Willingness to be a hands-on project manager to support and bridge gaps across the team (eg. analysis and reviews) and build a strong united culture across the hybrid teams (internal/external)

Skilled with Jira and SharePoint to deliver cyber security and other technology related projects

PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) to Scrum Alliance, or equivalent
