Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight to flexible options available.

Duties

Work with Department of Justice ICT services to achieve independence of Supreme Court ICT resources, and thereafter manage Supreme Court ICT resources and high-level systems administration including strategy, architecture, operations, applications and processes, security and continuity, vendor management, program and performance management, standards and policies, support and resources.

Provide strategic advice and planning in preparation for major ICT procurements, and thereafter undertake procurement, contract management and overarching project management for Court system development to advance the Court’s strategic direction.

Oversee the implementation and continuous organisational adherence to the Supreme Court’s ICT polices including response plans, escalation pathways, establishing appropriate standards and controls, managing security technologies, and oversight of regular compliance assessments.

Manage the Court’s statistical reporting, including:

Report on Government Services

Australian Bureau of Statistics

Annual Report

Quarterly and ad-hoc reporting

Other reporting as required.

Ensure the provision of day-to-day ICT support to the judiciary and staff within the Supreme Court, including the provision of adequate technical support for ICT users.

Develop and manage the implementation of the Supreme Court’s cyber security strategy, including ensuring the delivery of cyber security training.

Develop and maintain effective relationships other jurisdictions and expert organisations to assist in delivering effective ICT services and information management solutions and for the development of court technologies and management of cyber security threats and risks in the court environment.

The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications, and experience normally expected from persons occupying jobs at this classification level.

Desirable Requirements

Tertiary qualifications in ICT or related discipline and/or industry experience relevant to the role.

A minimum of five years’ experience in the delivery of ICT support, advisory and application infrastructure services.
