Air Duct is seeking a Duct Install Trade Assistant to help in the day-to-day installation of HVAC sheet metal ducting. I aim to grow my team over the next few years and seek an honest, hardworking, reliable, and easy to get along with bloke. I aim to provide a good, fun, safe, and easy-going work environment to the right candidate. The area of operation is south of the river (20km north of the city to Mandurah) with the occasional DIDO/FIFO work. We only operate on Commercial and industrial sites.

What You Get

30 to 40 per hour (Depending on experience) + penalties

40 hour working week, paid lunch breaks, Paid weekly.

3-month casual probation period then transition to full-time employment

Tools and PPE provided

Parking tickets reimburse weekly

Training provided after probation period

Immediate start available

What You Need

Australian Driver’s License

White Card

High Risk Work license (preferred)

Own vehicle

Previous experience using power tools (preferred)

Good communication between other trades

What You’ll Be Doing

Assisting with Installing and modifying ducting systems

Unloading equipment from trucks and Utes

Bolting duct runs together

Connecting flexible ducting using duct tape

Working from drawings and communicated instructions

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Delivering work to high quality and safety standards in line with project expectations

You’ll be working alongside myself, Matt. I’m an easy-going bloke. I value honesty, hard work and a good coffee, I like to have a good laugh to keep the morale high. I am also a single father and have responsibility to my children, so I do ask for some flexibility with start and finish times.
