Join the Civmec Team: Civmec has secured an exciting project with Rio Tinto and is seeking experienced Electrical Supervisors to join our project team on a casual basis. This role offers a 2/1 roster in the Pilbara during the upcoming shutdown period. These position will commence in January 2026 and run through until the end of the year.

The scope of work being undertaken covers most disciplines performed by Civmec within the maintenance space. The project will comprise of multiple shutdowns over a period of 12 months performing upgrades on the clients balance machines. (Stackers, Reclaimers and Ship Loaders)

The Role: Carry out electrical supervision and work to ensure compliance with company, client and statutory obligations.

Maintain adherence to industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Lead and mentor a team of Electricians, providing guidance and support

Liaise with client representatives regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries

Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes and accurate weekly reporting

Manage labour relations and coordinate with the representative groups to ensure a harmonious workplace

About You: To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

A strong background in Electrical Maintenance projects on balance machines

Hold a current WA Electrical licence, Electrical Nominee ticket and Electrical Trade certificate

Previous supervision on maintenance/shutdown projects within Australia

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Highly motivated with the ability to work autonomously and a focus on safety
