Finance Support Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Finance Support Officer to provide essential administrative and operational support to our Finance Consultants and wider team. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and an interest in ethical, Sharia-compliant finance. You’ll play a key role in ensuring applications are processed smoothly and clients receive timely, high-quality service.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting Finance Consultants with document preparation and client file management

Reviewing client documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness

Following up with clients for missing information and keeping records up to date

Assisting in the preparation and submission of finance applications

Updating internal systems and tracking the status of files through to finalisation

Communicating with lenders, solicitors, and internal stakeholders as needed

Maintaining accurate records in line with compliance and regulatory requirements

Assisting with general administrative tasks and team coordination

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

Previous experience in finance, lending, administration, or a related support role

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Clear written and verbal communication skills

A proactive, team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn

Proficiency in business software tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, cloud platforms) and the ability to quickly learn CRM and finance systems

An understanding of or interest in Islamic finance is a bonus, but not essential outlining how your skills and experience make you a great fit for this role.
