You’re Role: Some of your key responsibilities will include:

Answering all incoming customer calls/chats in a friendly, professional and efficient manner including conducting follow up/outbound calls and emails as required.

Dealing with enquiries, complaints, and requests for information or services by clarifying customer needs and responding appropriately to the requirements of each customer.

Interpreting Council policies and providing appropriate advice in relation to Local Government town planning, building surveying, engineering, waste, traffic, rates and accounts receivable, law enforcement, and environmental health matters.

Accurately record customer requests in the CRM system.

Required Skills and Experience: Computer literacy, demonstrating experience in word processing, spreadsheets and databases. Experience with Twilio or Tech1 highly desirable

Well-developed verbal and written communication skills including the ability to prepare short correspondence.

Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

Ability to work co-operatively as part of a team and independently.

Fluency in a second language is desirable.
