Description

The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for the following:

Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.

Analyse financial data to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on financial matters.

Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

Other ad hoc activities may arise or this role may develop over time given the dynamic nature of the business and current transformation activities

Profile

A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Professional qualifications such as CA or CPA are highly regarded.

Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and principles.

Experience using a large ERP such as SAP or Oracle

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Strong communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
