Our client is well-known and respected for their expert skills and technologies (Light poles, columns, structures). Established in 1969, they are the only manufacturing company in their field with presence in every state and territory in Australia, as well as Manufacturing Plants overseas.

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced, reliable, mature-minded storeman who is conscientious, with strong knowledge of OH&S to join their close-knit team.

In this role, you will learn the entire facets of Logistics and distribution specific to their business.

Your duties will include:

Receiving / Inwards

Despatch / Outwards

Forklift Operation

Computer work

Communication with internal and external customers

The person we are looking for will demonstrate experience in a similar role, as well as, good communication skills, sound Health and Safety knowledge, an abilit to learn quickly, a conscientious nature, strong work ethic (must be reliable), and possesses an ability to work autonomously. Additionally, you must possess a current Forklift Driving Licence and a current Victorian Driver’s Licence, and ideally, your own car.

We offer an excellent hourly rate of $37.50 + super per hour to start with, the opportunity to go permanent after a qualifying period. Hours are 7am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday. The company is located in a large, modern facility in Reservoir and Locals who meet the criteria are encouraged to apply.

Note that a Forklift Licence is mandatory and so is experience.

A pre-employment medical assessment is required prior to going permanent and is part of the recruitment process.
