About the Role:
Curtin School of Allied Health invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) fixed-term, one-year Parental Leave Cover position as Clinics Program Coordinator to ideally commencing in mid-March 2026. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to lead the planning and coordination of activities that support key initiatives and deliverables across Curtin’s operated clinics.
The successful candidate will bring expertise in practice coordination, clinic management, or student supervision, and will operate with considerable autonomy under broad direction from senior management. In this position, you will ensure students receive high-quality, safe learning experiences while delivering health and social services across the clinics operated by Curtin. You’ll demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous improvement, combining strategic planning skills with hands-on coordination abilities.

This position is based on Bentley Campus and availability during clinic hours, from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday, is required, with the need to work flexibly across the Clinics as needed.
Selection Criteria
Who we are looking for:
A professional qualification in a relevant Health Sciences discipline with considerable experience in a university and/or health care environment; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and /or education/training.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of a range of curriculum, learning and assessment software applications and to provide a high level of interpretation, advice, and guidance in relation to the implementation of these.
Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to coordinate and implement project plans to achieve desired outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to gather, collate, interrogate, and report on data.
Highly effective verbal communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to create maintain and enhance relationships with colleagues and external parties at all levels.
Demonstrated high level written communication skills, with the ability to draft and prepare a variety of reports and other written documentation.
Demonstrated effective decision making and problem-solving skill
Desirable
Previous experience in a tertiary environment.
Recent practice coordination, or practice management experience.
Experience in leadership and supervision of other staff and students.
Role Requirements:
As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role.
Successful applicants are subject to a National Police Clearance, and background, integrity, and reference checks to Curtin’s satisfaction.
This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check.
A level of fitness commensurate with the position.
Ability to work outside of normal office hours when required.
