Responsibilities:

Examine fabric or products for conformity to quality standards

Inspect and grade hides, pelts or leather

Mark defects

Package products

Record information on products inspected or graded

Repair minor defects

Sort products by style, colour, size, length or other criteria

Trim excess material, remove spots and lint

Experience and specialization

Textile products for inspection, grading or sampling
