We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Shift Supervisor (Mechanical or Electrical) to join our fast-paced, dynamic and rewarding Maintenance Team at Ulan Underground. Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, the Shift Supervisor will be responsible for effectively planning, executing and coordinating a range of maintenance and infrastructure management activities. You will coordinate and supervise a team of mechanical or electrical trades people and contractors to ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and according to specification.

Key responsibilities:

Plan, execute and coordinate maintenance activities

Provide leadership and technical guidance to a team of mechanical trades people and contractors

Ensure maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently in line with operational plans and procedures

Asset management and reporting in line with policies and procedures

Vacant positions are available on mid-week (Mon-Thurs) or weekend roster (Fri-Sun)

About you:

Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification

2+ years underground coal mining experience

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain strong working relationships

Proven experience leading teams through high volume maintenance activities

Sound working knowledge of SAP and Asset Management systems
