Delivery Driver
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: $18.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: Edmonton, Alberta (2 vacancies)
Skill Requirements:
Education: Some high school
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's License (Class D or 3)
Experience: No experience
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Specific Skills: Pick-up and deliver various items and products, Load and unload goods, Plan travel schedules and routes, Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle, Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems
Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service, Receive and relay information to central dispatch
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines
Essential Skills: Reading text, Numeracy, Communication, Working with others, Problem solving
