Allied Security Management Pty Ltd
Security Patrols Manager
Mobile Security | NSW | Autonomous | Growth-Focused
This is not a desk job. And it’s not just patrols either.
We are looking for a Security Patrols Manager who understands that modern security leadership means wearing multiple hats sometimes in the vehicle, sometimes on-site, sometimes behind the desk, and often on the phone making decisions that matter.
If you are the type who thrives on autonomy, enjoys building teams and client relationships, and knows how to balance operational oversight with commercial growth keep reading.
About Us
We are a nationally recognised security services provider operating across Australia. Our reputation is built on professionalism, long-standing client relationships, and consistent service delivery — not noise or churn.
Our Mobile Patrols division is growing steadily and strategically. This role exists to own that growth, not babysit rosters.
About the Role
This is a dynamic, senior operational leadership role with genuine flexibility and accountability.
You will manage your own time and priorities, balancing:
Oversight of patrol service delivery
Leadership and development of patrol teams
Client engagement and retention
Business development and innovation
While our patrol operations are well established and supported by strong systems, this is still a live operational environment. You must be comfortable stepping in when required but understand that most of your value is created through leadership, optimisation, and growth, not micromanagement.
What You will Actually Be Doing
Operational Leadership
Oversee the Mobile Patrols division
Ensure patrol routes, KPIs, and SLAs are consistently met
Act as escalation point for patrol officers when required
Maintain compliance across licensing, WHS, and industry standards
Oversee fleet usage, standards, and efficiency
Review daily reports and performance data
People and Culture
Lead, mentor, and grow a tight-knit patrol team
Set clear expectations and performance standards
Build trust within a small, high-responsibility operational group
Clients and Commercial Growth
Be the primary point of contact for key patrol clients
Maintain and strengthen long-standing client relationships
Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts
Support new business development and market expansion
Contribute ideas around innovation, efficiency, and smarter service delivery
Assist with contract reviews and commercial discussions
Strategy and Improvement
Work with Workforce and Safety Planning to optimise routes
Contribute to divisional budgeting and forecasting
Improve systems, processes, and patrol effectiveness over time
What We are Looking For (Non-Negotiables)
Current NSW 1AC Security Licence
5+ years experience in mobile patrol operations
Strong operational judgement — not just theory
Solid understanding of security compliance and industry standards
Experience with security technology (alarms, CCTV, access control)
Current Driver’s Licence
Computer literate and confident with reporting systems
Current First Aid Certificate
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to lead without ego and operate without handholding
Comfortable being on call as a senior leader when required
What This Role Is (and isn’t)
This role is:
Autonomous
Leadership-focused
Commercially minded
Client-facing
Growth-oriented
This role is NOT:
A roster-only position
A sales-only role
A static 9–5 desk job
Micromanaged
What’s In It For You
Competitive salary package
Commission and performance-based incentives
Real influence over how the patrols division evolves
Long-term career progression within a national organisation
Trust, autonomy, and respect — earn it, and it’s yours
Ready to Step Up?
If you are an experienced patrol professional who’s outgrown purely operational roles and wants to take ownership of a division — this is your move.
No recruiters. No passengers. Just operators who want to build something properly.
