Global Fashion House is an established and fast-growing women’s fashion wholesale company based in Surry Hills. An exciting opportunity exists to join our team as an experienced Fashion Brand Manager (Sales and Development).

We are looking for a talented Fashion Brand Manager who can truly identify our company’s brands target market and design aesthetic and will work closely with our Director and our Key production customers to develop exclusive ranges each season under their private labels.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded individual with in-depth understanding of the Australian fashion market who can understand each individual customer’s market demand and needs.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about sales and customer service, loves fashion and is someone that can be self-managed in over-seeing the Production critical path process from start to end, from range selling, costing, garment fitting to placing final production orders and delivery.

The Full-Time role is to be responsible for maintaining all relationships with our company’s Key production clients and providing exceptional sales and customer service in all aspects of the Product development and production side of the business. As a Fashion Brand Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to -

Key Responsibilities

Sales lead to our Key customer base and working with our key customers on their private range labels and giving them exclusive designs from our company resources

Understanding each Key customer’s market, product needs and demands

Forecasting and interpreting key trends for the season relevant to the Key customers

Sourcing yardage prints that are unique and on-brand for Key customers

Create garment sketches (CADs) and range presentations

Liaising with production team on all aspects of product development and production

Sample and fit approval to ensure quality standards are met for fit, fabric, colours, trims

Adhering to customer’s budgeting requirements and cost targets

Working to a critical path timeline with each Key customer from Sampling to Production and delivery timelines

Strong understanding of best and worst sellers from weekly / monthly warehouse floor stock sales

Assisting selling floor stock in the warehouse

To be successful you will have:

Qualifications and 2+ years’ experience in a Product Development / Production role

Experience in range planning and customer range showing

Experienced in following up the Production critical path from Sampling to Production order and delivery

Excellent in customer service skills

Thorough knowledge of woven and knit fabrics, and true knit garments

Strong technical skills

Analytical thinking skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator - CAD drawings and some graphic design

Microsoft office suite

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and be self-managed

A love of all things fashion and a great work ethic
