Health and Safety Advisor – Civil Infrastructure | $145K + Super + vehicle | Adelaide

We are hiring a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Advisor to join a civil contractors growing team in Adelaide. This is a full-time role working across major civil infrastructure and subdivision projects, with a strong emphasis on career progression.

Role Overview

Salary: $100k - $145K + Super DOE

Location: Adelaide, SA

Work Type: Full-time, permanent

Civil contractor with an ongoing pipeline of civil infrastructure projects along with road and subdivision works

Long-term opportunity with room for career growth

Key Responsibilities

Manage and implement all Health and Safety requirements across multiple project sites

Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety audits

Lead risk assessments and incident investigations

Work closely with project and site teams to promote a strong safety culture

Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, regulations, and procedures

Report on HSE performance and recommend improvements

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience in HSE roles within civil infrastructure

Strong background in civil engineering projects

Experience with road construction or subdivision works is highly desirable

Solid understanding of WHS legislation and site-based safety management

Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or higher)

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Driving licence
