About the role:

Conways, a leading provider of bakery style food and beverage services in the Wimmera region is seeking a casual or part-time Shop Assistant to join our Front of House team in Horsham.

What you'll be doing:

Providing exceptional customer service in a fast paced environment to our hundreds of dine-in and take away customers daily

Serving our specialty desserts, pies and pastries

Preparing and serving our delicious salad rolls and sandwiches

Preparing hot and cold beverages

Making and assembling catering orders

Assisting our back of house production team with food preparation, dishes and keeping our store clean, neat and tidy at all times.

What we're looking for:

Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role will be highly regarded, particularly in a cafe or food retail environment.

Barista experience would be advantageous.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment.

A positive, friendly and enthusiastic attitude.

Reliability, and flexibility to work a rotating roster throughout the week as well as some Saturday mornings.
