Holistic Approach Family Day Care Scheme is excited to expand our Victorian team and is looking for the perfect candidate to help us continue to grow our Victorian Service. This position will ideally based in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne, though any location across Victoria will be considered.

Holistic Approach FDC takes a flexible and family friendly approach to the Coordinator role, offering opportunities to grow and develop your experience with a supportive and helpful team.

HAFDC works closely to its support-based philosophy and as such is looking for someone to share our passion to support FDC Educators to grow and develop their own skills while supporting their own communities.

You will need to be confident and able to put yourself out there, a person with ideas to share and the confidence to work within a developing team is a must. You will work alongside our CEO and then develop a sense of leadership amongst your own team of Educators.

HAFDC is a unique company running across 4 states. It has a very strong focus on its educator support, community-based projects and offers a great working environment with family friendly, flexible working conditions.

Skills required: Self-motivated, hardworking, great time management, dedicated to providing exceeding quality care for children in a FDC setting, outside the box thinker.

Previous experience desirable in mentoring and motivating FDC educators, though not essential. Minimum Qualifications: Diploma in Children's Service, Working with Children Check, Current Police check, First Aid, Asthma, Anaphylaxis qualifications (ACECQA approved), drivers' license.

Selection Criteria:

Sound NQF Experience and knowledge.

Thorough organisational skills.

Ability to travel both interstate and regionally. 

Interest in working on State and National projects.

Efficient management skills.

FDC background preferred but not essential.

Great knowledge of Education and Care regulations and an understanding of Family Assistance Law

Sound experience in mentoring a team.

Willingness to contribute ideas to our national team.

Outside the box thinker and pro-active attitude.

Be self-motivated, hardworking, dedicated and holistic in approach.

Ability to be flexible in your approach to different Educator skills and backgrounds.

Minimum Qualifications:

Diploma in Children’s Services.

Working with Children Check.

Current First Aid / Asthma / Anaphylaxis / CPR (ACECQA Approved).

Child Protection and Safe Sleep Certification.

Driver's license.

Reliable car with comprehensive insurance
