About the Practice

Led by two partners with elite top-tier experience, the disputes team has become a destination for talent leaving national and international firms.

You’ll work alongside a team of 10 disputes lawyers, supported by a dedicated administrative team, handling a diverse mix of commercial litigation matters across corporate, commercial, IP, construction, property, and competition/consumer law.

The Role

The firm is seeking an Associate or Junior Senior Associate to manage its growing commercial litigation workload, including:

Broad commercial litigation (approx. 80%) and insolvency matters (10to20%)

Cases ranging from mid-sized disputes to large-scale, high-value litigation

Collaboration with partners with top-tier and international experience

A steady workflow without the need for business development, thanks to strong referrals

Clients include ASX-listed corporations, private equity firms, SMEs, founders, government entities, and not-for-profits, spanning industries such as technology, manufacturing, agriculture, digital innovation, property, and mining.

Candidates

3+ years PAE in commercial litigation (up to Senior Associate / 8 years PAE)

Strong technical skills in dispute resolution and litigation

Team-oriented, collaborative, and client-focused

Commercial acumen with a practical approach to problem-solving
