About the Role:

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for working on heavy vehicles, drawing on your trade qualifications in panel beating or similar. You will effectively collaborate within a team environment while also demonstrating the capability to work independently when needed. Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential, as is your commitment to maintaining workplace policies and adhering to WHS standards. While a background in heavy vehicles is preferred, it is not a requirement for this position.

What You’ll Be Doing

Removing, repairing, and replacing panels and components

Repairing dents, scratches, and other exterior damage

Structural repairs

Prepping surfaces for painting and refinishing

Stripping and refitting heavy-duty trim and body components, ensuring everything fits securely

Working closely with painters, estimators, and your team to deliver results on schedule

Always following Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies and procedures

Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe workshop

Your skills and experience

Trade qualification certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology or equivalent

Strong technical skills in panel repair

Ability to work accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines

Commitment to workplace health and safety

Passion for delivering high-quality workmanship
