Haven Psychology is expanding and seeking Fully Registered Endorsed Psychologists and General Psychologists to join our trauma-informed, inclusive and culturally responsive private practice based in Milton, Meanjin (Brisbane).

Our Offer:

Remuneration will be negotiated based on relevant experience; however, it is well above the Health Professionals and Service Support Award, starting from $85,000-$125,000 + superannuation + benefits.

Our supportive admin team liaise with the clinical team, GPs, other medical and allied health professionals, clients and those supporting clients to ensure the smooth running of client treatment plans as they work towards their goals, minimising client emotional and cognitive labour and energy where possible.

About the Roles:

Amongst other duties, depending on your role and experience, you will:

Deliver evidence-based assessments and therapy

Work with intersectional presentations including complex trauma, dissociation, neurodivergence, gender and sexuality and psychosexual concerns

Deliver trauma-informed, ethical, culturally responsive and inclusive care

Participate in supervision, training, leadership or practice development

Contribute to service improvement and clinical quality initiatives

About You:

You are a calm and compassionate professional with a heart for supporting our most vulnerable clients with their goals. You are:

a fully registered psychologist

Eligible for a Medicare Provider Number

Values aligned, ethical and collaborative

Trauma-informed and inclusive in your clinical practice

Passionate about working with marginalised and diverse communities

Interested in professional growth, leadership or focused practice areas

Able to consistently work efficiently, productively, and collaboratively within team settings and autonomously

Highly Regarded Skills and Experience:

Psychology Board-Approved Supervisor with clinical and/or counselling endorsement.

Minimum of 2 years of experience post supervisor registration.

Master of Psychology with endorsement

Post-graduate Psychosexual tertiary qualifications

Demonstrated experience in trauma-informed, culturally responsive and sex-positive practices.

Strong leadership and mentorship skills.

Identity-affirming and inclusive care, especially with, but not limited to culturally and racially marginalised peoples, gender and sexuality, neurodivergence, diverse relationship structures and sexual practices,

Training and experience in EMDR, Schema, IFS, Ego-State, Structural Dissociation, Somatic Experiencing, ACT, Narrative, Compassion Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Psychosexual Therapy
