Mining to Exploration and Geoscience (Mining, Resources and Energy)

Day rates from 500 to 800 / day + Super

We are looking for Geologists and Field Assistants who are interested in being part of current and upcoming exploration programs across Queensland.

These roles offer the opportunity to work with high-quality exploration teams on exciting projects. We want to hear from people who are reliable, field-ready, and available at short notice.

GEOLOGISTS

Logging and supervising AC, RC and Diamond drilling

Planning and executing surface sampling programs

Mapping and field interpretation

QA/QC and sampling validation

Managing field logistics and contractor supervision

Working with tools such as Micromine, LogChief, and GIS

Writing daily reports and supporting geological models

What you'll need

BSc in Geology

Experience in mineral exploration (any commodity, ideally base metals)

Confident in the field and able to work in small teams

Strong logging, sampling, and mapping skills

Manual driver's licence

Based in Queensland with full Australian working rights

First Aid (preferred but not essential)

Completed, or able to complete, a Mineral Mine and Quarry (MMQ) Medical Assessment and drug and alcohol test

FIELD ASSISTANTS

Assisting with Aircore, RC, and Diamond drilling operations

Collecting and dispatching soil, rock chip, and drill samples

Core mark-up, orientation, RQD, and SG measurements

XRF use and basic data entry

General field labour and helping keep camp running smoothly

4WD driving in remote areas

Maintaining clean and safe work areas

What you'll need

Prior experience in field-based exploration support

Physically fit and capable of manual work

Manual driver's licence (HR highly regarded)

Based in Queensland with full Australian working rights

First Aid (preferred but not essential)

Completed, or able to complete, a Mineral Mine and Quarry (MMQ) Medical Assessment and drug and alcohol test
