We're looking for a Remuneration and Benefits Analyst to join our People and Capability function. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering our core remuneration activities and ensuring we continue to attract, reward, and retain great talent across our business. You will play an integral part in shaping our organisation by providing expert advice and support in relation to remuneration and benefits activities including job evaluations, salary benchmarking, remuneration analysis, annual salary reviews, annual and quarterly bonus program calculations, and employee benefits administration.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity based at our Kmart Group Support Office in Chadstone.

What You Will Be Doing

In this role, you'll support the Remuneration and Benefits team to deliver Kmart Group's remuneration strategy.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Core Remuneration Activities

Conducting job evaluations using Mercer IPE (or similar) methodologies.

Completing remuneration benchmarking, survey submissions, and analysing market data to provide insights and recommendations.

Providing remuneration advice to the PandC Business Partnering and Talent Acquisition teams, ensuring alignment to market data and internal frameworks.

Cyclical Processes

Supporting the annual remuneration review, including system testing, data integrity checks, and preparation of recommendations.pdf)

Administering annual and quarterly bonus programs for salaried and wages teams, partnering with Reporting and Payroll to ensure accurate and timely payments.

Remuneration Projects

Contributing to the delivery of remuneration and benefits projects, including data audits, process improvements, and system updates

Maintaining the integrity of remuneration data across Success Factors and internal systems.

To Be Successful in This Role

You will bring a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast?paced environment with competing deadlines.

You'll also have:

Experience and Skills

3-5 years' experience in remuneration, HR analytics, or a similar role.

Experience with job evaluation methodologies, preferably Mercer or Korn Ferry.

Strong data analysis capabilities and advanced Excel skills

Knowledge of remuneration surveys, salary structures, and benchmarking practices

Experience supporting remuneration reviews and/or bonus processes

Technical Capability

Proficiency in cloud-based HR systems, ideally Success Factors.

Strong numerical ability and accuracy with large data sets

Ability to communicate remuneration concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels
