CPO Building Group is a fast-growing construction company specialising in residential renovations and insurance repair projects across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Qualified Carpenter to join our team.

This is a long-term opportunity with genuine career progression into Leading Hand, Site Supervisor and Project Management roles.

About the Role

You will work across a variety of projects including:

Residential renovations

Insurance rectification works

Structural framing and repairs

Internal fit-outs

External cladding and finishing carpentry

Light commercial works

You will gain exposure to full project delivery from strip-out through to completion.

What We’re Looking For

Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent trade qualification)

Own tools and reliable transport

White Card

3+ years post-trade experience preferred

Experience in renovations and/or insurance repairs highly regarded

Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Ability to work independently and within a team

Strong communication skills
