The Opportunity
Due to service growth, we are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our casual workforce.
Shifts available:
Morning
Afternoon
Night
Sleepover
(Please indicate your availability in your application.)
This role involves supporting participants with physical and/or psychosocial disabilities in home and community settings.
Applicants must be comfortable working in homes where pets (including dogs) are present.

Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centred supports aligned with NDIS plans
Assist with personal care and daily living tasks
Support medication administration (where trained)
Facilitate community participation
Implement behaviour support strategies
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
Ensure compliance with WHS and organisational policies
Essential Requirements
Certificate III or IV in Disability/Individual Support/Aged Care (or equivalent experience)
Minimum 6 months experience in disability, aged care, or related support services (for candidates without formal qualifications)
Experience supporting participants with complex behaviours (desirable)
Current Driver Licence and reliable insured vehicle
NDIS Worker Screening Check
NDIS Worker Orientation Module
NDIS Worker Orientation Module must be completed and current at the time of application
NDIS Worker Orientation Module must be completed before start date
First Aid and CPR
Valid Australian working rights

Position Purpose
To provide high-quality, person-centred disability support services to NDIS participants in accordance with their support plans, organisational policies, and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Participant Support
Deliver supports in accordance with NDIS plans and organisational care plans
Assist with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and mobility
Support daily living tasks (meal preparation, domestic duties, shopping)
Facilitate community access and participation
Support skill development and independence
Clinical and Medication
Administer medication in line with training and policy
Follow manual handling and infection control procedures
Documentation and Compliance
Complete accurate progress notes and incident reports
Maintain confidentiality and privacy compliance
Adhere to NDIS Practice Standards and Quality Indicators
Report risks, incidents, or safeguarding concerns promptly
Teamwork
Liaise with families, carers, allied health professionals and case managers
Attend team meetings and training as required
Key Selection Criteria
Essential
Certificate III Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent OR relevant industry experience
Equivalent experience includes any care experience in disability, aged care, or related support services
Demonstrated experience supporting people with disability
Minimum 6 months experience supporting people with disability
Minimum 6 months experience in any care experience including disability, aged care, or related support services
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
First Aid and CPR
Current Australian Driver Licence
Valid working rights in Australia
Desirable
Experience supporting participants with complex behaviours
Medication Administration Certificate
Manual Handling Training
Physical and Environmental Requirements
Ability to perform manual handling tasks
Comfortable working in private homes
Willingness to work in environments where pets are present
