Regional Group Australia (RGA) are seeking an experienced Concrete Accounts Manager to join our team based in South-East Melbourne, VIC.
The Accounts Manager will be responsible for supporting RGA's product and service offering to both account and non-account customers in the Melbourne area, whilst maintaining a continual focus on any growth opportunities that may be presented.
The Accounts Manager interacts with customers through a combination of telephone, email, and face-to-face meetings. The Accounts Manager is responsible for achieving an assigned sales and profitability goal.
Duties will include:
Retain market share, sales, and profitability through proactive stewardship of the group’s relationship with assigned customer accounts across all segments.
Penetrate assigned accounts by:
1. Selling new or additional products or services to current clients; and/or
2. Finding additional clients within the geographical region
Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
Develop positive relationships with clients
Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
Site visits during product delivery to support both team and client requirements. Ensuring product quality and responsiveness to climatic and specific site conditions
Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
Supervise account representatives to ensure sales increase
Report on the status of accounts and transactions
Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
Frequent travel will be required across the Melbourne Region
Company vehicle provided
Knowledge and experience required:
Current Drivers licence
Previous experience in sales preferred but not
Superior written and verbal communication
Listens, understands, and adapts to an audience and can communicate clearly and persuasively
Proven ability to build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across all business units and on major projects
Takes ownership of outcomes, and can balance accuracy with timeliness
