Innovative Energy Systems is a family-run electrical business based in Busselton, delivering high-quality commercial, industrial, and residential projects across Western Australia.

We are looking for a proactive, experienced Business Manager / Operations Coordinator to oversee all aspects of our business. This is a long-term role for someone who wants to develop and lead a team, shape processes, and make a real impact while enjoying family-friendly hours.

The Role

You will take ownership of the day-to-day operations and play a key leadership role:

Oversee all business operations, including projects, administration, and scheduling

Manage finance processes such as invoicing, payroll, and budgeting

Coordinate project timelines, rosters, and team logistics

Lead and develop administrative and project support staff

Maintain compliance, licenses, and safety documentation

Implement and improve systems, processes, and procedures across the business

Serve as the main point of contact for clients, suppliers, and subcontractors

Support the leadership team in strategic planning and business growth initiatives

What We’re Looking For

Strong operations, business, or management experience, ideally in a trade, electrical, or construction environment

Desire to lead, mentor, and build a team

Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills

Comfortable managing finance, HR, compliance, and day-to-day operations
