Big Paws Little Paws is a premium dog grooming and enrichment-based daycare facility in Ravenhall, and we’re looking for an experienced Dog Daycare Supervisor to join our team.

This role is perfect for someone who already has a strong background working in dog daycare, animal behaviour, or dog training, and is confident managing groups of dogs while leading a small team.

About the Role

Tuesday to Friday roster

Operating hours: 6:30am to 7:00pm (7.5 hour shifts within this window)

Casual position, with part-time available for the right candidate

Supervising daily daycare operations and maintaining a calm, structured environment for dogs and staff

What We’re Looking For

Experience is key for this role. The ideal candidate will have:

Previous dog daycare experience (essential)

Strong understanding of dog body language and behaviour

Experience with group dog management and safe play

Background in animal behaviour, training, or canine studies highly regarded

Confidence handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments

Leadership skills and the ability to guide junior team members

Your Responsibilities

Supervising daycare groups and ensuring safe play

Monitoring dog behaviour and managing group dynamics

Implementing enrichment activities and structured play

Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards

Communicating with clients and the wider team

Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of daycare
