This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth by sourcing MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and group event business for our diverse portfolio of venues.

Role Overview

As Sales Manager / Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within the MICE and group events sector. Your focus will be on building strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and agencies, promoting our venues as the premier choice for group dining and events.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for MICE and group event bookings.

Source and secure new business opportunities across Sydney and other major cities where the group operates.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, event organizers, and industry partners.

Collaborate with venue and operations teams to ensure seamless event delivery and client satisfaction.

Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

Candidate Profile

Proven track record in sales or business development within hospitality, events, or related industries.

Strong understanding of the MICE sector and group event dynamics.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.

Ability to manage multiple venues and tailor proposals to diverse client needs.
