About the role: Step into a leadership role where your clinical expertise and compassion make a daily difference. As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager within TQEH’s Mental Health Rehabilitation Service, you’ll support the Nurse Consultant (NC) and Team Manager (TM) in leading a dedicated nursing team, fostering a safe, connected, and recovery-focused environment that empowers both staff and consumers.
Lead and support nursing staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care
Coordinate staffing, rostering, and daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery
Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and professional development initiatives
About you: You’re a compassionate and capable mental health nurse who leads with purpose and care. You bring advanced clinical knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to recovery-focused, person-centred care within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing
Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to guide and support others
Demonstrated experience coordinating care for consumers with complex mental health needs
Skilled in fostering teamwork, driving positive change, and developing staff potential
