A premier hotel in Mount Isa, part of a renowned Asia-Pacific hotel chain, is seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead its kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver exceptional Italian dishes that delight hotel guests and visitors

Develop and maintain high culinary standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation

Oversee menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and cost control aligned with the hotel’s brand and guest expectations

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards

Collaborate with hotel management to enhance the overall dining experience and drive customer satisfaction

Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to foster a positive and productive work environment

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef, ideally with a strong background in Italian cuisine

Exceptional leadership and team management skills

Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and inventory management

Creative flair and passion for delivering authentic Italian culinary experiences

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to regional market demands

Excellent communication and organizational skills
