Our client is seeking an experienced Plumbing Operations Manager to oversee operational performance, including job scheduling, workforce coordination, client communication, and overall delivery of project and service work. This role requires strong operational leadership and commercial awareness to ensure jobs are delivered efficiently, safely, and profitably while supporting the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of plumbing projects and service work.

Manage job scheduling, workforce allocation, and subcontractor coordination to ensure timely and efficient delivery.

Monitor project budgets, costs, and resource utilisation to maximise profitability.

Ensure compliance with WHS, quality standards, and internal policies across all operational activities.

Lead, mentor, and develop operational staff to drive high performance and a strong team culture.

Build and maintain strong client relationships, responding to enquiries and resolving operational issues promptly.

Implement operational systems, processes, and reporting to support growth and continuous improvement.

Collaborate with senior management to align operational plans with strategic objectives.

Key Qualifications

Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Operations Supervisor, or similar role within plumbing, building services, or construction.

Strong knowledge of operational planning, scheduling, and workforce management.

Commercially minded, with experience managing budgets, costs, and resource allocation.

Knowledge of WHS, compliance, and quality standards relevant to plumbing or construction operations.

Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement process improvements.

Proficiency in operational software, scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
