Learn and Grow Therapies is a reputable and well established family-owned business who have been offering paediatric therapy services for over a decade. We pride ourselves on delivering holistic, client centered, multidisciplinary supports to children and families.

In March 2025, our team moved into a newly renovated, spacious, purpose fit, heritage building in Kelvin Grove. We are now excited to be building an OT service and are looking for an experienced OT who can support the growth and success of our OT team and service!

About the Role

Learn and Grow are searching for an Experienced Occupational Therapist (min 2yr experience) to join our team and help us to grow our OT team and service. The role may involve a combination of clinical and non-clinical duties with a focus on supporting the introduction and growth of OT services at Learn and Grow.

Our Occupational Therapist will be a confident and experienced clinician who can service a diverse caseload, provide clinical support or supervision to our team, and assist with service development and business growth.

Tasks and responsibilities

Provide high quality Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention services to a diverse paediatric caseload.

Provide clinical support to less experienced students and therapists on the team.

Develop and deliver induction programs, clinical templates, clinical practice guidelines and training programs that support the clinical excellence of a growing OT team.

Work collaboratively in a team to develop and deliver joint sessions and group programs with our SLPs, OTs and RMTs.

Be a passionate and inspiring advocate for OT services by sharing experiences and knowledge within our multidisciplinary team

Liaise with local child cares and kindys to organise and deliver support services such as screening assessments, parent info nights and staff training sessions (e.g. Kindy Uplift programs).

Develop and deliver Early Educator Training sessions to teachers and support staff at childcares and kindergartens across Brisbane.

Develop and deliver group therapy programs jointly with Music Therapists and Speech Pathologists.

Participate in referrer nurturing and networking activities with GP practices education centers, schools and other external stakeholders to support a growing OT service.

Participate in developing clinical development frameworks, policies, systems and processes as required.

The role can involve a combination of clinical and non-clinical duties.
