Our Client

Our client is an ASX listed business that owns a group of companies regarding the automotive wholesale and retail space. This business is responsible for about 60% of the groups revenue with 3 large locations in the same street!

Role

Reporting to Head of Warehousing you will come in and identify gaps and drive a best in class culture across inventory taking a dedicated team on a journey. Getting buy in and joining people and process together is key!

Develop and implement a complete inventory management strategy in conjunction with the Warehouse team

Optimise inventory level to maximise availability whilst minimising excess stock on hand and obsolescence.

Identify optimum reorder points and quantities in conjunction with Purchasing and Planning.

Develop and execute annual stock take plan and minimise discrepancies.

Ensure complete Master Data Integrity

Required Skills and Experience

Proven record of achieving corporate objectives

Possess good computer skills, in particular familiarity with MRP/ERP systems.

Have exposure to Sales and Operations Planning processes.

Possess strong planning, problem-solving and analytical skills and a numerate approach to management.

Financial acumen

Ability to liaise with all levels of staff, both internal and external to the organisation

Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as to participate in activities as a team member

Ability to manage one’s own time, set priorities, plan and organise work in order to meet the objectives

Ability to produce results despite conflicting pressures

Demonstrated capacity to coach and facilitate a team of people.

Practical hands-on approach and being results oriented

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Treats others with respect
