Summerland Support Services is seeking committed and compassionate Support Workers to join our growing team in the Northern Rivers. These roles focus on supporting individuals with a range of disabilities, including those with psychosocial disabilities living in Supported Independent Living (SIL) environments or in the community.

Support individuals to build independence, confidence, and meaningful participation in daily life. These roles include working in SIL homes and community settings, supporting people to achieve their goals through person centred practice.

You are dependable, proactive, and passionate about supporting people to live the life they choose. You demonstrate professional boundaries, strong communication skills, and an ability to remain calm and confident in dynamic environments.

Highly Regarded Experience

Supporting NDIS participants to build independence and life skills

Knowledge and experience supporting people with psychosocial disabilities

Working with participants with a range of disabilities

Experience in SIL or residential care environments

Following Positive Behaviour Support Plans and safety procedures

Preferred Qualifications

Certificate III (or higher) in Youth Work, Mental Health, Disability, Community Services, and/or extensive experience

Essential Requirements

NDIS Worker Check

Working with Children Check

First Aid and CPR

Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module

Valid driver’s licence and reliable, fully insured vehicle
