About the role
We’re seeking an experience and detail-oriented Product Quality Inspector to assist team leaders in ensuring product quality meets customer specification, in particular photo specifications. In this role, you will work closely with our Quality Assurance and Production teams to ensure all products meet quality and safety standards from development to production. This is a fast-paced, varied role ideal for someone passionate about quality control and food safety within the food manufacturing industry.
Your new role will include:
Communicate, educate and monitor specifications of different products to ensure all items packed meet customer expectations.
Identify out of specification product being produced and ensure they are removed and redone correctly.
Communicate all non-conforming product issues back to line operators and team leaders to ensure errors are corrected.
Reject or repair any identified packs coming down the production line
Ensure non-conforming products are placed in the agreed area for that line
Participate in QA Team meetings when required to ensure quality issues are reviewed

About you
This role would suit a highly motivated Quality Control Officer with a strong understanding of allergen risk assessments, ingredient verification, and regulatory compliance for food labelling.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Proven experience within the food manufacturing industry would be advantageous
Tertiary qualifications or substantial practical experience
The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
Proficiency within all Microsoft Office applications
Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
