Core Lithium has now reached Final Investment Decision (FID), marking the official restart of the Finniss Lithium Operation and the next phase of growth. About the Opportunities

We are seeking a Senior Maintenance Planner/Reliability Engineer to support the performance and reliability of our Finnis lithium processing plant as we restart operations.

Reporting to the Processing Manager and working closely with the Production Superintendent and plant leadership team, this role will focus on improving reliability, maintenance effectiveness, and equipment performance across our plant.

You will support both the Dense Media Separation (DMS) circuit and the crushing and dry plant, playing a key role in establishing maintenance strategies, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting long-term plant reliability.

This is a Darwin-based residential role on a 5:2 roster, 10 hour days, offering the opportunity to be home every night. Relocation support is available for the suitable candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement reliability and maintenance strategies across the plant

Analyse equipment performance and identify improvement opportunities

Drive preventative and predictive maintenance programs

Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to optimise plant performance

Conduct root cause analysis and failure investigations

Ensure planning and scheduling of maintenance activities meets required standards

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across plant systems

Ensure maintenance practices align with safety and operational standards

About You

You are a technically strong engineer with a focus on reliability, maintenance, and plant performance in a processing environment.

You will bring:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline / trade

Experience in fixed plant maintenance or reliability engineering

Exposure to mineral processing plants (DMS experience highly regarded)

Experience with crushing and/or dry plant equipment

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams

Commitment to safety and continuous improvement

Valid Australian driver’s licence

About Core Lithium

Core Lithium is an ASX-listed resources company focused on the restart of the Finniss Operation near Darwin in the Northern Territory. With open pit mining at the Grants deposit targeted to recommence in May 2026, feeding the site’s existing lithium processing plant, and underground development at BP33 planned later in the year, the operation is entering an important new phase of production.

As part of this restart, Core Lithium is undertaking a significant recruitment campaign to rebuild the operational workforce across mining and processing.
