St John of God Geraldton Hospital is a 60-bed private hospital providing high-quality comprehensive medical and surgical care to people who live within the Geraldton and Mid-West areas of Western Australia.

Your role at St John of God Geraldton Hospital

As a member of our friendly and approachable team, you will be responsible for the provision of a high standard of patient care in a safe and effective manner. We encourage all experienced Registered Nurses to apply. Those experienced in Perioperative Specialties, Orthopaedic, Obstetrics and Gynaecology will be highly regarded.

Casual positions are currently available for Registered Nurses to join our multidisciplinary team with availability to work on-call and flexible shifts. Applications will be considered over the next three months as new positions become available including both casual and permanent part-time.

The Position

Maintain and develop clinical skills in order to care for patients appropriate to level of competence.

Deliver a high standard of patient care utilizing appropriate resources cost effectively.

Adhere to and supports hospital policies, procedures and standards.

Act as the patient's advocate and facilitate the rights of individuals.

Provide patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.

Participate in a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care through the continuum of care.

Prioritise workload using resources effectively.

Provide supervision to Enrolled Nurses, students and PCAs as required

You will have a registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.

To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development. Minimum 2 years' experience is preferred and must be available to work on-call and flexible shifts.

We Can Offer You

Registered Nurse Salary: 82,945 to 106,630 (pro rata for part-time), plus 12% superannuation

Casual rate: 52.30 to 67.24 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% superannuation

Casual positions available now, permanent part-time positions available in the near future.
