Take the lead on key projects across the Sydney region, and contribute directly to business pipeline and growth through estimating and tender submissions.
The role:
A dual role covering civil construction Project Management, and Estimating.
Not the only one in the team, others are doing the same, managing civil construction projects while supporting the business leadership with estimating and tender responses, depending on work load.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management and leadership - Hands on generally on-site across 1 - 3 civil projects ensuring leadership and authority to make decisions is present for major milestones.
Lead, motivate, and support project delivery teams,
Oversee project planning, progress, and delivery in collaboration with Site Supervisors and Foreman.
Develop and maintain project programs, budgets, and timelines to ensure profitability
Client engagement, communicating updates and managing expectations.
Estimating and tender submissions– an ongoing requirement to help keep the project pipeline full with profitable projects.
Support the business when the opportunities to tender on projects are available, ensuring opportunities are not missed.
Site inspections, client meetings and engagement.
Interpret works from plans and specifications
Attention to detail in constructability, methodology, and competitive pricing.
Essential qualifications, experience, skills, and attributes required to succeed include:
Degree in Civil Engineering.
Demonstrable experience as a Project Manager on subdivision and infrastructure projects
Experience Estimating and responding to tenders for Civil construction projects highly regarded
Strong, local civil construction experience, and knowledge of specifications, for detailed earthworks, roadworks, utilities, and drainage.
Ability to read, visualise, and interpret construction drawings and develop workflows
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
White Card and current driver’s licence [essential]
