Are you tired of being the hydraulic modeller on the ‘outskirts’ of a multidiscipline working environment?

Then now is your time to get into the heart of the action!

Our client is a one-of-a-kind Tier 1 Hydraulic Contractor, executing Design and Construct contracts and producing detailed, fully coordinated Hydraulic drawings and models on key major projects happening in QLD right now.

This is where the (design) magic really happens, and your true modelling skills will come into play.  Working from design drawings, you will be appointed as a Lead Hydraulic Design Modeller on a major project to produce shop drawings, working closely with Hydraulic modellers and their offshore team to deliver your project.

Our client is currently working on multiple major QLD Government projects with more projects in the pipeline for 2025.  These projects, along with the future Olympic work, will see this busy design office grow from its current 9 members plus an offshore team and your career secured in the QLD sector.

The team: you will be surrounded by some of the industry’s most experienced, local, longtime QLD Senior Hydraulic design modellers as well as some super skilled internationals – creating a unique mix of knowledge and skills whilst making the team environment respectful with good comradery and fun!

It is essential that you are capable of producing a Hydraulic Design autonomously as well as model from scratch using Revit and other BIM tools.

Experience required;

At least 6 years in Hydraulic Design and Modelling experience;

Ability to model with Revit at an expert level;

Proficient with web-based document management tools (Aconex, Procore, Teambinder);

Proven time-management, attention to detail and communication skills;

Trade (Hydraulic) or Tertiary qualification (not essential);

Experience in the hospital/health sector would be viewed favourably.
