The Position
With AlburyCity community at the centre of everything we do, Information Management and Technology Team (IMandT) is focused on creating and sustaining an innovative Information technology culture as one dynamic team. The position is located within the IT Operations Section. Supported by the ServiceDesk, Project Delivery, Business Systems and Records, the team delivers the full range of network and communications infrastructure services.
Tasks and responsibilities
The position will be responsible design and delivery of the following services, undertaking all aspects of design, management, and operations:
Local area and Wide area Network hardware and software
IoT, Microwave Radio Network, 2-way Network hardware and software.
Domain Name Services
Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol
Staff, Contractor, IoT and Public Wi-Fi
Qualifications and experience
Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent relevant work experience
Class C Drivers Licence (compulsory to have and maintain)
Experience with server environments, networks, virtual environments, databases, desktop operating environments, hardware, backup and recovery technologies that enable delivery of the out of hours support services
Proven experience with installation and maintenance of operating systems
Proven experience with installation, upgrade and deployment of software packages
Hours
Based on a 35 hour week, with actual days and times worked in accordance with the IT roster. The IT roster span of ordinary hours is from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity’s RDO guidelines.
