About the role
The Administrative Officer is responsible for the provision of a confidential secretarial, reception and administrative services to the Women’s and Children’s Health Network. Administrative Officer positions work on a weekly rotation roster, across various shift times within the clinical areas and Administrative Services Unit across the Health Network.
Key duties of the role
Provide an effective and efficient administrative and reception service.
Provide an efficient, fair and equitable patient focused booking service
Assist with the provision of an efficient and effective record management service
Support and actively participate in a positive culture and safe work environment within the department.
Skills and Experience
Experience in providing a confidential reception, secretarial and administrative support service.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work with empathy with a diverse range of people, while demonstrating in a courteous and polite manner.
Working knowledge of office and administrative procedures and systems, including, competent keyboard and data entry skills.
Demonstrated initiative, good organisational skills and attention to detail.
