About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated, qualified General Practitioner (VR) to join our caring, supportive team at the ACU Medical Centre located on the beautiful, modern Melbourne campus adjacent to St Vincent’s Private Hospital in Fitzroy. Supported by experienced reception and nursing staff this position will work alongside four GP’s in a fully accredited, multidisciplinary clinic providing person-centred services to university students, ACU employees and the local community which makes for a varied and rewarding caseload without the pressure of a high volume corporate environment. Our Practitioners provide general medical and preventative care, family and mental healthcare, wellness supports, referrals, pre-placement screenings and vaccinations.
The ACU Medical Centre is open Monday to Friday from 9.00am until 4.30pm and we offer flexible, part time work hours 1 or 2 days per week or half days. This opportunity would ideally suit GP’s wanting improved work-life balance, parents with young families or those thinking about semi-retirement. Position Requirements:
Current AHPRA registration with FRACGP or equivalent
Proven experience in General Practice
Full, Australian Work Rights as sponsorship is not available
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
